Before becoming a lawyer, Şebnem served on chemical tankers, Ro-Ro Vessels of a major shipping company and Catamaran Passenger Ferrys as a second officer and chief officer. She has been nominated as Master on ships less than 500 grt on near coastal voyage. Also, she has yacht master qualification. While studying in law faculty, she taught at the yacht captain’s preparation course for short- term.

After her graduation from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2020, she completed her legal internship, and she joined Cavus & Coskunsu Law firm as an Associate lawyer in 2023.

Sebnem’s practice is mainly focused on maritime law and commercial law. She is also experienced in providing consultation in general legal matters.
